But then Lee agreed to do another day, the day BEFORE in fact, so now I can see it before all the fuckers who took my tickets originally

The boredom was overwhelming, but at least I only worked 9:30 to 3:30 and the Archibald Knox pub was just up the road so I ate a decent lunch.
What was my work experience? I don't even know. I just wandered around Onchan village aimlessly and drew all day when I wasn't. I mean I may think mine was bad but I know many will have it worse so it's OK.

Why is Naruto so popular? Anyone who's into it, please explain to me what makes you like it so much.
This IS NOT about flaming or anything, I just genuinely want to know what the appeal is. Because, I mean, to me there are plenty of more original mangas/animes out there. I did try to get into it at one point, but I just couldn't see what the fuss was. It seemed like your typical manga storyline (the underdog story) and there wasn't anything particularly special about it, it was normal. I suppose I would've liked it better if it wasn't so hyped up. (I read Death Note before the hype and hadn't heard of it before I read it, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. If I read it after the hype I probably wouldn't care for it.)
So I don't know, maybe I lack the Naruto loving part of the brain that everyone else seems to have.
So anyway, I'd be grateful if anyone who's a fan could say why they love it so much, that would be great. And anyone who doesn't like it as well could say why they think so, I suppose.
